On May 23rd, publisher and developer GIANTS Software allows virtual farmers to take their farms anywhere. With the release on Nintendo Switch™ and mobile devices powered by iOS or Android™, the next installment of the successful Farming Simulator series introduces a brand-new experience. Now, the makers of Farming Simulator 23 announced the scope of the agricultural fleet that fans can look forward to.
Heavy & Specialized Machinery
“While mobile users may purchase additional content directly in-game, Nintendo Switch fans receive an extended fleet of 130+ agricultural machines from the get-go”, explains Boris Stefan, Head of Publishing at GIANTS Software.
One way or another, agricultural enthusiasts look forward to an impressive fleet of authentically digitized machines: High-performance tractors like the Case IH Magnum 380 CVXDrive, Landini Serie 7 Robo-Six or Zetor Crystal HD, harvesters like the New Holland Braud 9070L specialized in grapes and olives or planters such as the Lemken Azurit 9 and many more are included in Farming Simulator 23.
Paid & Free Content to Extend the Game
Mobile users can extend the selection of 100+ machines available from the in-game dealership with in-app purchases: The John Deere 8R 410 tractor and CLAAS LEXION harvester are two of the machines available separately at launch.
In addition, Nintendo Switch players as well as mobile users will receive free and paid content updates down the road after Farming Simulator 23 launches on May 23rd as the latest official game in the successful simulation series.
Fans and farming-interested gamers can look forward to new crops like grapes and olives, new mechanics like production chains and gameplay features like plowing and weeding in the direct sequel to Farming Simulator 20. Meanwhile, gamers on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox enter Year 2 of Farming Simulator 22 with a new expansion, content packs, and updates coming later in 2023.
Farming Simulator 23 will be released on May 23, 2023. Pre-orders for Farming Simulator 23: Nintendo Switch Edition are available at selected retail stores and the Nintendo eShop. The mobile versions for iPhone, iPad, and Android devices are featured in the App Store and on Google Play, respectively. New crops and animals to grow an agricultural empire: Publisher and developer GIANTS Software announces Farming Simulator 23 for release on May 23rd on Nintendo Switch™ and mobile devices. With plenty of new features in an open-world setting, GIANTS Software equips the family-friendly Farming Simulator 23 with everything needed to become the genre-leading figurehead for simulation games that can be played everywhere.
Authentic Machinery & Valuable Goods
Farming Simulator 23 is the successor to the globally acclaimed Farming Simulator 20 released in 2019. Players choose their way of farming, whether it’s agriculture, animal husbandry, or forestry. Different types of machines help with all activities on the farm and beyond: More than 100 authentic vehicles and tools from world-renowned manufacturers such as Case IH, CLAAS, DEUTZ-FAHR, Fendt, John Deere, KRONE, Massey Ferguson, New Holland, Valtra & many others are included in the game.
New gameplay mechanics allow various production chains, whereas players produce flour from their harvested wheat to sell bread – or furniture from wood, or even clothes from sheep wool! Plowing and weeds offer more new activities as additional options to cultivate the fields.
Crops and Animals on Two Entertaining Maps
No farm without animals: Farming Simulator 23 newly adds chickens to cows, horses, pigs, and sheep. Whether breeding, collecting eggs, or riding out on a horse, all these cute animals enrich the farm life.
Grapes, olives, and sorghum are new among the 14 crops to harvest. Players can also take a stroll and search for collectibles or simply enjoy the seasonal visual changes in the landscapes: There is a lot to explore in Amberstone and Neubrunn, the two unique maps, inspired by environments in the USA and Europe.
Benchmark for Mobile Farming
“Whether in the chicken coop, on the field or when transporting goods, the various possibilities in Farming Simulator 23 ensure rich diversity and limitless fun," comments Boris Stefan, Head of Publishing at GIANTS Software. "We're happy to deliver our fans the next installment in the series; Farming Simulator 23 is poised to become an impressive mobile platform milestone in our company line-up.”
The improved tutorial mode, AI helper, and the new auto-loading feature for logs and pallets support the players in their farming career. In May, it’s time to start farming anywhere you want to let the good times grow!
