The second big expansion for Farming Simulator 22 lets virtual farmers cultivate an agricultural empire in Zielonka – a brand-new Central European map. Looking ahead to the scheduled release of the Premium Expansion & Premium Edition on November 14th, publisher & developer GIANTS Software sets the mood with a serene, melodic map trailer.
The Charm of Central European Farming
Zielonka expresses the flair of Germany’s neighbors, drawing inspiration from countries like Poland and the Czech Republic. Not only does Zielonka offer a picturesque landscape around a remote and quaint village, it also has fertile ground to cultivate new vegetable crops.
With carrots, parsnips, and red beet, the Premium Expansion brings the total count of arable crops in Farming Simulator 22 to twenty. New machines and tools like specialized harvesters to handle the additions become available with the expansion, too.
Zielonka – Home of Pianos & Vegetable Exports
Above all, a renowned piano manufacturer is resident alongside other traditional businesses in Zielonka. Farmers may profit heavily from supporting the construction of classical keyboard instruments with this new production chain: By supplying wooden planks, every piano built becomes a source of revenue for the committed farmer.
Focusing on vegetables, the potato production plant produces crispy potato chips, the preserved food factory canned goods, while the beloved soup factory called “Zup, Zup, Zup” specializes in liquid food. All of them reward engaged farmers with increased income for delivering produce. When the crops are harvested, the factories supplied, and the pianos built, players may also look for new collectibles in and around Zielonka.
Farming Simulator 22 is available for PC, Mac, PlayStation®5 (PS5™), Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation®4 and Xbox One. The Premium Edition (and the stand-alone add-on Premium Expansion) will be released on November 14th for the same formats and includes two expansions and seven packs in addition to the full version. Further information can be found on the official Farming Simulator website and in the press area of GIANTS Software.

Publisher and developer GIANTS Software organizes the 3rd competition in the Farming Simulator League (FSL) Season 5 on September 16th-17th. Streamed on YouTube, Twitch, and Facebook in English and German, the knock-out contest features teams of three players in a family-friendly esports duel.
Fans eager to switch from watching to participating are welcome at any time: Newcomers to the FSL enter via fsl.giants-software.com and claim their share of the 200,000 Euros prize pool in Season 5.
First Online Competition for Farming Simulator 22
FSL Season 5 started this summer at two on-site events. Team HELM, sponsored by HELM AG, one of the world's major independent agricultural enterprises, conquered the competitions at GIANTS Software’s annual event FarmCon and gamescom, the world’s largest event for computer and video games.
This weekend, all teams have to show their skills in the first online tournament in Season 5. Simultaneously, it’s a premiere for Farming Simulator 22, as previous seasons took place in its predecessor.
Harvesting, Baling, and Scoring
The FSL is a team-based competition which demands coordination and strategies. The Pick & Ban phase before a match determines the machines available to each team. Some or even all team members have to switch to different vehicles during the competition, whether harvesters, balers, tractors to pull or stack, telehandlers, or even a truck.
The teams with three players each compete for the higher score by harvesting wheat, pressing bales and delivering them to their barn within the ten minutes playing time. This weekend, the competition starts at 10:00 CET and will be streamed on official GIANTS Software channels.
Farming Simulator 22 is available for PC, Mac, PlayStation®5 (PS5™), Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation®4 and Xbox One. The Farming Simulator League is played in the Arena mode within the multiplayer section. Further information about FSL at fsl.giants-software.com, the official Farming Simulator website and the GIANTS Software press area.

GIANTS Software draws a very positive conclusion from this year's gamescom in Cologne: In Hall 6, the publisher and developer known worldwide for Farming Simulator hosted a rousing stage program over five days from August 23rd to 27th.
Fans and gamers got hold of the popular straw hats, which could then be seen all over the exhibition grounds. At the same time, the largest number of Farming Simulator gaming stations to date was available and the second tournament of the Farming Simulator League Season Five thrilled esports fans.
Premiere for Premium & Hardware
The Premium Edition for Farming Simulator 22, which will be released in November, was playable in public for the first time ever. Supplemented by the mobile version Farming Simulator 23, GIANTS Software offered a total of over 30 gaming stations.
In cooperation with accessories specialist HORI, visitors to the show were able to try out previously unannounced hardware especially designed for use with Farming Simulator.
Hats Off to the Winners
Since June, competitive farming has been included in Farming Simulator 22: At gamescom, numerous fans benefited from this new game mode, beating five opponents in this Bale Stacking Challenge and grabbing valuable prizes from John Deere.
The Farming Simulator League (FSL) had even more competition: On the gamescom weekend, the participating teams played the second tournament of the fifth season, which has a prize pool of 200,000 Euros. This special mode for competitive farming requires coordination when harvesting, baling and delivering to your own barn and is also included in Farming Simulator 22.
Happy Faces Everywhere
The FSL tournament, played in a multiple knockout system, lasted 18 hours over two days - many of the games were only decided in the decisive third match. In the end, Team HELM, a favorite, won against the surprise team of Farming-Friends, who – although tainted with defeat very early on – made it all the way to the final.
"That was another goosebump feeling in Cologne!" commented Boris Stefan, Head of Publishing at GIANTS Software. "An exciting FSL tournament, an exuberant audience with our famous straw hats and enthusiasm all around Farming Simulator. These experiences with our community simply can't be topped!"
