Publisher and developer GIANTS Software announces Farming Simulator 26, introducing a new challenge system that gives players tasks and offers rewards in addition to a satisfying sense of progression. Soon available on Nintendo Switch and mobile devices, the game invites virtual farmers to take on structured tasks while still enjoying a relaxed, self-paced farming experience.
Rewards & relaxation on two new maps
Players will farm across two new environments, one European and one North-American map. The new challenge system provides optional direction, for example, delivering wheat to a grain mill so the bakery receives flour and can produce cake. Farmers are rewarded for completing weekly or seasonal challenges that encourage them to engage with the broader farming ecosystem.
A wide range of farming
Farming Simulator 26 offers plenty of activities, letting players shape their farm around whatever they prefer: They can spend a calm session in the fields cultivating 15 different crops, head into the woods with heavy forestry equipment, or care for farm animals like cows, sheep, chickens, and goats, including their offspring. New production chains, and the logistics required to keep them running, add another layer of depth.

This new installment of the series lets players operate more than 120 realistic tractors, harvesters, field sprayers, and other machines. Publisher GIANTS Software and developer Straight4 Studios today released Update 2.0 for Project Motor Racing, the largest update to the simulation since launch. It introduces sweeping improvements across every layer of the game, aimed at refining the driving experience, rebuilding the user interface, strengthening online racing systems, and revitalising long-term career mode progression.
Built with community feedback and assistance, Update 2.0 marks a major milestone for Project Motor Racing. The first official DLC will follow in its slipstream.

Overseeding to Restore Grassland
Traditional Dutch manufacturer Vredo enables virtual farmers to fight the degradation of grassland and restore fields and their yield potential. High-tech machines like the Vredo Agri Twin 580, Agri 290, and Agri Air 290, all part of the new DZ5 seeder generation, allow players to overseed.
Slurry Injection for Higher Yield
Vredo’s slurry injectors do not just restore yield, they increase yield and crop quality by improving soil nutrition and efficiency. Machines like the Vredo VT7138, a high-capacity, three-axle, self-propelled slurry tanker, injectors from the Vredo Profi series, and the mounted Evers Agro Toric 48-672 help farmers take fertilization strategies to the next level.
Protecting Fields from Boar Damage
Alongside new machinery and yield-improvement techniques, the Vredo Pack introduces a new threat farmers need to watch out for: In addition to existing natural events like twisters and hail, wild boar can cause crop damage unless they are distracted. Managing this risk reduces yield impact and adds another layer of responsibility in protecting the harvest.

Among numerous improvements, Patch 1.17 adds additional content and options for modders, including new tires, new configuration attributes, and multiple fixes. GIANTS Software is gearing up for FarmCon 26: The publisher and developer of the family-friendly series has announced that the community event will take place on the weekend of 1st & 2nd August at Volvo Construction Equipment in Konz, Germany. This year, the annual convention not only celebrates the ever-growing community, but its 10th anniversary.
Meeting Devs, Driving Excavator
Fans, modders and content creators can meet the team and creative minds behind Farming Simulator and are invited to attend a variety of stage presentations. As has been the tradition since the first FarmCon in 2016, visitors have the opportunity to find out more about current and future Farming Simulator projects and speak to the team directly during Q&A sessions.
Taking place at Volvo Construction Equipment in Konz, visitors can look forward to even more entertainment and hands-on activities off the stage: join factory tours for a behind-the-scenes look into Volvo CE’s production halls, then step outside into the sandbox to test drive the future, including electric construction machines. Excavators and wheel loaders will be available for test drive, while younger fans can hop into kid-sized Volvo machines. And of course, real machines will be standing by as a state-of-the-art backdrop for selfies.
